Classes for Parents & CAregivers

All classes include enrollment for mother and a support person

Prepared for Birth:

(Encouraged for expectant parents in the 7th or 8th month, but it is never too late)

Private Class (4 hours)- Looking for a class which meets your needs AND your schedule? Then this is the perfect option for you! I will come to your home and help you get ready for the "big day" with a class designed around your personal goals, concerns and desires for birth. Includes an overview of labor, comfort techniques, relaxation, medical interventions, and much more. (Can be done in one or more sessions depending on what works for your family)

Express Private Class (2 hours)- Just want the basics? Need a refresher? This class offers a

overview of labor, basic comfort and relaxation, and the postpartum period.

Baby Signs Parent Workshop:

(Encouraged for expectant parents or parents of non-mobile infants)

Private  or Group Class (1 1/2 hours)- Early communication can be an essential tool for parenting!

Learn how you can know what your baby needs, wants, and even feels even before he has spoken language!

Newborn Care:

(Encouraged for expectant parents in the 8th month of pregnancy)

Private or Group Class (2 1/2 hours)- For many new parents, babies are a mystery. Learn about newborn appearance and behaviors, signs of illness, reading your babies cues, comforting your little one, breastfeeding basics, and much more.

Infant Development Class:

(Encouraged for parents with infants birth to 4 months)

Private or Group Class (1 hour)- In this class parents will discover ways to make playtime with

an infant fun and developmentally appropriate! Enjoy fun activities designed around what your baby can already do!
